Pakistan's Liquid Foreign Reserves position

KARACHI: The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$ 19,695.0 million on November 10, 2017.

KARACHI: The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$ 19,695.0 million on November 10, 2017.

This was announced by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) here on Thursday.

It said that the break-up of the foreign reserves position is as under:

i) Foreign reserves held by SBP: US$ 13,677.6 million

ii) Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks: US$ 6,017.4 million

iii) Total liquid foreign reserves: US$ 19,695.0 million.

During the week ending 10 November 2017, SBP's reserves decreased by around US$ 183 million to US$ 13,678 million due to external debt and other official payments, the statement further pointed out.
