Similar to iPhone X, Apple is working on introducing Face ID system on its iPad by removing the device’s home button.

The company will remove the home button by making the display closer to the device’s edge and filling almost entire front, making it look mesmeric. Similar to iPhone X, the iPad will come with the Facial ID feature. The new iPad will reportedly be launched by late 2018.

Apple might introduce a stylus for iPhone

According to a report by Bloomberg, the upcoming iPad will feature a 10.5-inch display but will not make use of OLED displays and would rather stick with the LCD displays. A stylus called the ‘Apple Pencil’ was also reported to be in progress and is expected to launch along with the new tablet.

However, it is not yet known if the tablet too will have a ‘notch’ up top like the iPhone X or if the new iPad will be water resistant or will allow wireless charging or not, reported The Verge.
