HEC's slashing of funds: future of 220 students, teachers abroad threatened

About 220 students and teachers of Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU), who went abroad on scholarship for Ph.D and M.Phil studies, are facing great trouble as the government has reduced funds of Higher Education Commission (HEC) and other varsities of the country.
The students, some of whom were sent by HEC and others by BZU to different countries, are not getting their monthly stipend and thus are worried about their future.
