The Indus River System Authority (Irsa) on Wednesday released 234,977 cusecs water from various rim stations with inflow of 222,293 cusecs. According to the data released by Irsa here, the maximum water level in River Indus at Tarbela was 1392.00 feet, which was 14.00 feet above its dead level 1378.00 feet.
Water inflow was recorded as 89,700 cusecs and outflow was recorded 95,000 cusecs. The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa and Sukkur was recorded as 125,520 101,876 and 43,004 cusecs respectively. The water level in River Jhelum at Mangla was 1142.70 feet, which is 102.70 feet above its dead level of 1040 feet whereas the inflow and outflow of water was recorded as 65,984 and 48,000 cusecs respectively. Similarly, from River Kabul a total of 44.500 cusecs of water was released at Nowshera and 34,793 cusecs released from River Chenab at Marala.
