Real Madrid chief Florentino Perez has reportedly refused to extend Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract as he believed that the Portuguese behaviour is becoming increasingly erratic.

According to Spanish media outlet Don Balon, the club president Perez reckons Ronaldo is in decline.

The report suggests that Ronaldo is jealous of Lionel Messi, Neymar and some of his other Real team-mates.

The 32-year-old also struggled in Real’s 2-0 win over Espanyol on Sunday.

Real’s manager Zinedine Zidane played him up front with Marco Asensio, but the pair failed to click.

Spain international Isco was deployed in the hole behind the duo and bagged a brace.

Ronaldo suffered a personally frustrating game in Real's victory over the Barcelona-based outfit, hitting the target only once from four shots.

That took the 32-year-old to 22 unsuccessful attempts at goal, three of them on target, in three La Liga games.

Zidane admitted after the game that he’s disappointed for his star man.
