Argentinean superstar Sergio Aguero has narrowly survived a car crash in Holland – thanks to his seatbelt – that broke some of his ribs.

The 29-year-old will be facing months out of Manchester City’s season, according to local media reports.

The Manchester City striker was attending a Maluma pop concert in the Netherlands when the PT Cruiser he was being driven in was involved in a terrifying smash.

Before the show he sent a social media post out saying thanks for the invitation complete with a photo of himself.

But, just hours later, it appears the taxi he was returning to the airport in collided with a pole in Amsterdam.

The airbags were deployed and no other car appears to be involved from the photos available.

Manchester City are yet to comment on the incident.

@maluma . Gracias por la invitación !! 👌🏽
