The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) on Monday announced results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Part-I, General Group annual examination 2009. The overall pass percentage stood at 42.57. Total of 31,629 students (25,792 regular and 5,837 private) were registered and 30,507 (25,079 regular and 5,428 private) appeared in the annual contest.
Total 12,987 students (10,883 regular and 2,104 private) were declared pass. However, 7,283 students passed four papers, 4,971 three papers, 2,813 two papers and 1,586 students can clear only one paper of the annual examination.
