ACCA PAES&CPD award to LSE

ACCA awarded Platinum Approved Employer status and Continuous Professional Development (PAES&CPD) to Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) in recognition of their commitment towards training and development of ACCA trainees and members.
Speaking to the award presentation ceremony held here on Tuesday, the Head of ACCA Pakistan, Arif Masud Mirza said that the ACCA Approve Employer Programme (AEP) supports organisations in reaching global best practice in the provision of learning and development opportunities for ACCA trainees and members. He said the ACCAs Approved Employer Scheme plays a pivotal role in the recruitment, development and retention of the ACCA trainees and members.
As a benefit of being an approved employer, all ACCA trainees and members working for LSE will have an access to ACCAs specialist resources customised for learning and development of finance and accountancy professionals. The close relationship will indeed attract talented human capital and demonstrate the organisations commitment towards development of employee, which in turn would lead talent retention.
Speaking on the occasion, the LSE Managing Director, Mian Aslam Shakeel, said that the growing ceremony of our country is in dire need of appropriately skilled and qualified professionals, who have high moral and ethical values. We expect ACCA to help meet the increasing demand of the accounting and finance professionals, he added.
