MNA Nasrullah Bijarani passes away: Zardari and Gilani grieved
Pakistan Muslim League (Q) MNA from Jackobabad Mir Nasrullah Khan Bijarani died due to cardiac arrest at Federal Government Services Hospital (Polyclinic) on Monday. Nasrullah Bijarani, who was living in Parliament Lodges, felt severe pain in his chest. He was immediately rushed to Polyclinic for medical check-up and treatment.
Doctors tried their best to save the life of the legislator, but could not succeed. The in camera session of the Parliament, in which Federal Information Minister Sherry Rehman was to give legislators briefing about government policies, was adjourned.
Nasrullah Bijarani, was elected as National Assembly member on the ticket of Pakistan Muslim League (Q) from NA 210 by defeating Shehryaar Khan of Pakistan People's Party. Later, he developed some differences with party leadership and joined the forward block of PML-Q.
Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani have expressed deep grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Mir Nasrullah Khan Bijarani. In separate messages, they paid rich tributes to the veteran politician for his services for the cause of democracy.
President Zardari and Prime Minister Gilani, in their condolence messages, prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage and fortitude to the members of the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss. The Prime Minister also directed that his plane be used for carrying the late MNA's body to Sukkur, and asked the local administration to facilitate its journey to his hometown.
National Assembly Speaker Dr Fehmida Mirza and Deputy Speaker Faisal Karim Kundi have also expressed their grief and dismay over the sad demise of seasoned parliamentarian. Senate Chairman Mohammedmian Soomro and Deputy Chairman Jan Muhammad Khan Jamali have expressed their deep grief and sorrow over the death Mir Nasrullah Khan Bajarani.
