Sindh University Vice Chancellor Mazharul Haq Siddiqui has said that Allama Ghulam Mustafa Qasmi (Late) was a great scholar having an authority on many disciplines. He was speaking to Professor Nazir Qasmi son of the great religious scholar Allama Ghulam Mustafa Qasmi here in his office.
Professor Nazir presented a copy of the 3rd edition of 'Shah Jo Risalo' to Sindh University Vice Chancellor, which was compiled and revised by late Allama Qasmi and published by Mehran Academy Shikarpur.
The first edition of the Shah Jo Risalo was published in 1951, which is now not available in the market. Remembering great services of Allama Qasmi, Sindh University VC said his literary contribution enriched Sindhi, Urdu and Arabic literature, which is a vital source of inspiration for scholars and followers of Allama.
The Vice Chancellor appreciated the services and contribution of Mehran Academy and Professor Nazir Qasmi in publication of the third edition. He hoped that people of Sindh and particularly youth would benefit from the new edition of Shah Jo Risalo.
