German auto giant Volkswagen on July 04 reported a sales rise of almost 25 per cent in mainland China and Hong Kong for the first half of 2007.
The company's two Shanghai-based joint ventures sold a total of 431,369 vehicles from January to June, up 24.6 per cent from the 346,263 vehicles sold in the same period of 2006, Volkswagen said in a press release.
