A suicide blast struck a foreign military vehicle near the Afghan capital Friday, officials said, as the Nato-led force announced that two of its soldiers were killed in combat elsewhere. Only the attacker was killed in the blast near a convoy travelling on a gravel road to a military training ground about 15 kilometres (nine miles) east of Kabul.
"It was a suicide car bomb attack against foreign troops," police criminal investigation department chief General Alishah Paktiawal told AFP. "There were no casualties."
