Punjab Bar Council not to attend APC

Punjab Bar Council (PBC) has decided not to attend the All Parties Conference (APC) convened by PML-N at London. While addressing a press conference, here on Thursday, Vice Chairman PBC Amjad Warriach, Chaudhry Ramzan and others said that they are professionals and their struggle is only for the independence of judiciary.
They said that PBC has decided not to attend the APC to keep them away from the politics. They said lawyers always waged struggle for rule of law and independence of judiciary. They said that lawyers believe in democracy and by indulging in politics, their struggle for independence of judiciary and revival of Chief Justice of Pakistan might be damaged.
