Equities partially recovered at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where bulls returned in the front seat amid increase in index. ISE-10 Index showed an increase of 8.55 points as the index moved from 2,736.31 to 2,744.86 points. The overall turnover amounted to 45,93,700 shares as compared to previous volume of 34,96,300 shares.
Total 151 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (100) closed in positive territory, 48 landed in minus column, whereas three companies remained pegged to their previous levels. The volume of Fauji Fertiliser Bin Qasim was 706,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 539,000 shares. The turnover of Fauji Cement was 576,000 shares. The volume of Javed Omer Vohra was 431,300 shares.
