SBCA demolishes unauthorized construction in Saddar, Clifton, other areas

SBCA officials sharing details of the action taken against violators of the law, here on Friday, said more than 20 unauthorized structures raised on different plots across the metropolis were demolished during past two days.

In Clifton's Bath Island area fifth floor of a building raised on plot number D-10/E was torn down alongwith unauthorized structure on 9th floor of a building on plot number BC-3, block 1, Clifton.

Constructions made on mezzanine floor of a building on plot number 372 Jamshed Quarters in Jamshed Town was said to be brought down while in compliance to Sindh High Court orders illegal construction on third floor building (plot number D-215) Mehmoodabad was also demolished.

Structure built as ground plus first floor on plot number R-992, block 8 was demolished alongwith structure on plot number 1856 in Federal B Area.

SBCA teams in Federal B Area also brought down unauthorized structures raised on plots number R-1012, R-943 and R-944 besides sealing plot number plot number E-20 in Rafah e Aaam Cooperative Housing Society.

Second and third floors of the building (plot number 6/20 -BR-2) and plot number 11-C. AM Quarters in Saddar Town were said to be also demolished during the campaign.

In Liaqutabad Town third floor built in contravention to building rules on plot 2D 5/11 in Nazimabad, fifth floor on 3F 17/10 and extension on plot number 2D 9/2 were also razed alongwith similar action taken on plot number R-590 in Sharifabad.

In Gulshan e Iqbal Town staircase built on plot number 56, Farhan Cooperative Housing Society was demolished and additional structures built on mandatory open space built on B-37, Al Hilal Housing Society were brought down alongwith RCC Roof and partition walls of third floor on plot number 657 in PIB Colony.

Similar exercise was taken against violators in Dhoraji Cooperative Housing Society; Surjani Township in Gadap Town; Bin Qasim Town and Shah Latif Town.
