The Lahore High Court issued notices to respondents interior ministry and others in a petition filed by former provincial minister and PPP leader Malik Mushtaq Awan praying to the court to allow him to go abroad. The petitioner contended that he is facing aliment and intends to go to abroad for his medical check-up.
He said that the respondent court did not allow him to go abroad for his medical treatment. He said that the respondent interior ministry also put his name on Exit Control List illegally and without lawful authority. He, therefore, prayed to the court to allow him to go abroad for his medical treatment.
The court, after hearing his counsel at length, issued notices to the respondents for July 04 and rose for the day.
