Board-in-council of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) would take up the matter of appeal process for employees who were unable to get double pay package under the Internal Job Posting (IJP) process. The meeting chaired by FBR Chairman M. Abdullah Yusuf would be convened on Tuesday.
Sources said on Monday that the CBR Member Human Resource Management (HRM) Muhammad Talha would brief the council about the IJP appeal process and selection of officials on double pay package for Model Customs Collectorates (MCCs) and Regional Tax Offices (RTOs).
It seemed that the IJP process has been completed for most of the employees, but the HRM Wing has failed to timely devise the appeal system for the aggrieved persons.
The Chief Executive, Pakistan Revenue Automation Limited (PRAL) would give presentation on different IT related projects including "One Customs"; Tax Management System (TMS); Sales Tax Management System (STMS); Nexus; Legal Affairs Management System and Audit Management System. The council would also review policy for provision of vehicles under the Tax Administration Reforms Project (TARP).
The FBR Chairman and members may also give their comments on the proposed communication policy chalked out by a consultant hired from private sector. This is the first meeting of the council after conversion of CBR into FBR at the start of the new financial year.
