Lawyers' token protest continues

The lawyers on Saturday continued their token protest by observing token hunger strike and one hour boycott of courts against the suspension of Chief Justice of Pakistan here in the provincial metropolis.
The lawyers wore black ribbons during their protest. Two hunger camps one by Save Judiciary Committee (SJC) and second by Lahore High Court Bar Association were set up in Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA)'s premise while third camp by Lahore Bar Association in Aiwan-e-Adal.
At the hunger strike camps, a number of lawyers including Secretary LHCBA Sarfraz Ahmad Cheema, Finance Secretary Ruby Hayat Awan, Abdul Rashid Qureshi, Muhammad Azhar Siddique, Tayyaba Zamir Qureshi, Rana Tanvir and Raja Zulqarnain took part.
President LHCBA Ahsan Bhoon, former president Hafiz Abdul Rehman Ansari, and various leaders of political parties visited the hunger strike camp and expressed solidarity with the lawyers.
