A full bench of the Lahore High Court adjourned till September 23, the proceedings of law and order in the province as Inspector General of Punjab Police submitted his report about Sheikhupura region.
The court during last date of hearing had directed IGP to submit his report pertaining to the law and order situation and statistics of registration of criminal cases against outlaws and their arrest by the court.
The court had observed that the list should also include the details of the cases pending with the courts and their status. The court observed that the case will be heard after summer vocations. The member Lahore High Court Bar Association M D Tahir and others had approached the court against the law and order situation in the province.
The court had also taken notice of law and order situation during the course of hearing of a petition filed by father of law officer Arif Bhinder who had been murdered.
