A large high-powered Chinese trade mission will arrive in Pakistan on July 11 to discuss investment and trade promotion possibilities between the two countries. According to Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) here on Thursday, Vice Minister of Commerce, Gao Hu Cheng is leading 45-member mission which will stay in Islamabad till July 13.
Director TDAP Khalid Mehmood said this visit will provide a extensive opportunities to Pakistani businessmen to capitalise trade talks with their Chinese counterparts. He said TDAP will arrange exclusive buyers and sellers meetings between Chinese and Pakistani businessmen, besides meetings with Pakistani and Chinese trade officials to further promote bilateral trade.
He said TDAP will also arrange the display of Pakistani products in the capital to provide an opportunity to local manufacturers to show their products to visiting Chinese importers and businessmen. Chinese buyers have shown interests in more than 60 items besides the routine exports items from Pakistan to China.
TDAP has urged interested Pakistani manufacturers and exporters to contact its offices if they are willing to take part in buyers and sellers meeting.
