Teradata, a global enterprise leader in data warehousing and division of NCR Corporation on Thursday announced plans to expand its Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) off shoring and outsourcing operations in Pakistan, servicing the business intelligence needs of a global customer base from 180 to 300 professional services consultants.
"The Teradata Global Consulting Center initiated operations in Pakistan in 2004 and is currently providing world-class technical and business solutions for our customers in Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) and certain parts of the Americas. He said that the center's staff specialises in data warehousing and business intelligence software, applications development and offers superior expertise in end-to-end enterprise data warehouse and business intelligence implementation. "Pakistan was a natural choice to establish a Global Consulting Center, one of the four centers world-wide because of its solid information technology infrastructure, state-of-the-art facilities and its high quality technical universities producing high caliber professionals, he added.
