Statistics is now available about the time consumed during the general debate in the National Assembly in six days, from June 12 to 17. It was learnt that as many as 110 Opposition members participated in the six-day general debate on the budget in the National Assembly from June 12 to 17.
In total, they spoke for 26 hours and 39 minutes. Among them were 48 PPP members, 47 from MMA, 17 from PML-N and 10 from other opposition parties. But only 77 members spoke from the Treasury benches, utilising 18 hours 43 minutes. Their allotted time was 32 hours 30 minutes.
