Singapore bunker prices firmed up on Tuesday on worries that demand will exceed supply, as its differential to fuel oil cargoes remained in discount for the fifth-straight day.
Prices for 380-centistoke (cst) were pegged at $356-$358 a tonne, up $3 from the previous session, while the differential to fuel oil cargoes was at a discount of $1.20, up 55 cents from Monday. "Delivery schedules are getting tighter and supplies are running lower," a Singapore broker said.
