Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 58,961 tonnes cargo including 48,181 tonnes import, 10,780 tonnes export cargo and 1,408 containers (TEUs) during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Tuesday.
The cargo comprised of 27,761 tonnes dry cargo including 20,234 tonnes general cargo; 4,084 tonnes fertiliser; 3,443 tonnes cement and 31,200 tonnes oil/liquid cargo. Four ships namely Conti Esperance, Aoyama, Winco Uno and Makran sailed out to sea during the report period.
Four vessels viz Oel Esteem, Beluga Eternity, Winco Uno and Preama Pride are currently at the berths. Three ships namely Bunga Kenari, Wan Hai-301 and Beluga Eternity expected to sail on Tuesday, while another vessel viz Bunga Kenari expected to sail on Wednesday.
Eight vessels viz Chemstar Brave, Al Ihsaa, Apl Shenzhan, Spilit, Mary H, Adriatic Arrow, Sea Princess and Bl Sadia due to arrive on Tuesday, while another eight ships namely Peterpaul, Sinar Bandung, YM Faha, Hyundai Future, YM Sun, Cruiser, Ocean Frontier and Banglar Maya are due to arrive on Wednesday.

Two ships namely C.V. MSC Zanzibar and M.V. Al-Mansourah sailed out to sea during the report period. Two vessels viz C.V. Maersk Carolina and C.V. Carina expected to sail on Tuesday. A total of two ships namely MSC Aurora and Nedlloyed Asia are currently at the outer anchorage.
Three vessels viz C.V. MSC Carina, C.V. Maersk Carolina and M.V. Al-Mansourah are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers and cement respectively during last 24 hours. Container vessel Nedlloyed Asia due to take berth at Container Terminal on Tuesday.
Four vessels viz CV Lucien, M.T. Pegasus, M.T. Sinar Agra and M.T. Oriental Miho with containers, edible oil and chemicals are due to arrive on Tuesday, while four more ships namely C.V. Emirates Adam, CV ACX Tsubaki, CV Pacheco and MT Al Maqwa with containers and diesel oil are due to arrive on Wednesday.
