Gainers outclassed losers at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where bulls dominated the proceedings under the lead of trend-setters amid decrease in index. ISE-10 Index showed an increase of 9.60 points as the index moved from 2680.86 to 2690.46 points.
The overall turnover stood at 3,374,100 shares as compared to previous volume of 2,744,400 shares. Total 158 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (109) closed in positive territory, 46 landed in minus column, whereas three companies remained glued to their overnight levels.
The volume of Lucky Cement was 512,100 shares. The volume of Arif Habib Securities was 457,500 shares as compared to previous turnover of 239,100 shares. The volume of Bank Al Habib was 442,600 shares.
