Former GCU vice-principal hospitalised

A distinguished political scientist and scholar Professor Javed Ahmed Sheikh has been hospitalised following rupturing of his lever. Professor Javed Ahmed Sheikh served as the Head of the Political Science department of the GC University Lahore and later he was appointed vice-principal of the then Government College Lahore.
Even after his retirement, he continued serving his alma mater to date and extended knowledge sharing lectures and presentations to the young political scientists of the university. He is also the co-ordinator of the M Phil leading to Ph D programme of the Political Science department of the university.
The deans of the university, the Registrar, the teachers, students and the vice chancellor Professor Dr Khalid Aftab have prayed for recovery of Professor Javed Sheikh.
