President Pakistan People's Party Parliamentarian Punjab Shah Mahmood Qureshi said here on Friday that the ruling party is facing disintegration and its members are in contact with the PPPP and PML-N leaders.
Addressing a news conference in Lahore, Qureshi maintained that the ruling party is divided in two groups. He claimed that a close relative of the PML-Q Chief is also in contact with the leaders of both the parties and ready to join any of them. He further stated that the ruling party members have clear differences over the issues of President uniform and presidential election.
To a question, the PPPP leader said that Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry would be accorded rousing reception on his arrival in Multan on Saturday (Today). He stated that workers of the opposition parties and citizens will accord unprecedented reception to CJP.
He further stated that the present regime is near its logical end and people will soon hear good news.
On the occasion, former MPA from Okara, Chaudhry Arif and Pir Arif Zaman from Khanewal announced their decision of joining the PPPP. They expressed full confidence in the leadership of Benazir Bhutto.
