Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has suspended Ravi Football Club's Secretary Munawar Hussain for six months from taking part in soccer-related activities.
According to PFF's spokesman, Munawar fielded a suspended player Syed Tanveer Ahmed against Falcon Football Club in the ongoing Third Islamabad Football Association (IFA) A-Division League Championship 2007. The PFF would not spare those found involved in violating discipline, he added.
The Falcon-Ravi match was awarded to the former after Falcon Football Club's Secretary had lodged the protest that PFF and IFA had suspended the said player for 10 years and his appearance was clear violation against the decisions of the two soccer bodies.
