Stage set to receive CJP in Multan

Pakistan Bar Council Vice Chairman, Mirza Aziz Akbar Baig appealed to traders, political parties and NGOs to accord a historic reception to the chief justice of Pakistan (CJP) on his arrival in Multan.
A 10-lawyer delegation of Muzaffargarh Bar would march barefoot to Multan on June 23 to receive the chief justice of Pakistan. Similar group of lawyers would also march to Multan from Lodhran (80 km) to express their solidarity with the CJP.
More than 150 social, cultural, educational, traders, legal organisations and all opposition parties ie PPP, PML-N, Tehrik-i-Insaf, Pakistan Seraiki Party, JUP, JI, JUI, JAH, Pakistan Democratic Party, Tonga-Rehri drivers federation, Apca, Pakistan Labour Federation have planned to warmly receive the chief justice on June 23. All arrangements have been completed in this regard. PPP will also establish its welcome camps at every square of Multan city and Qadarpur Raan.
