Punjab University will provide all facilities for exchange of educational delegations to spread awareness among its students about the educational uplift and advancement in the most modern disciplines at the international level.
Acting Vice-Chancellor Punjab University Professor Dr Arif Butt stated this while talking to the members of first ever delegation of PU comprising students and faculty members going to China on educational visit under the mutual exchange programme. The delegation will leave for China on Thursday under the leadership of Professor Muhammad Azhar Ikram and will return on June 29.
On the tour the delegation will visit Beijing as well as other universities of China. The faculty members in the delegation include Dr Ambreen Javed of Political Science, Azam Shafique of Hailey College of Commerce, Sidra Irfan of Institute of Administrative Sciences while Basit Qayum from IBA, Sidra Naeem from Persian Department, Sadia Usman from department of Micro Biology and Molecular Genetics, Sher Afghan Malik from Sociology Department, Mehwish Ayaz from Hailey College of Banking and Finance, Syed Muhammad Nishat ul Hassan Kazmi from University Law College, M Naeem Ul Hassan from Political Science department, Aniqa Asad from History department and Rabia Aslam from Institute of Chemical and Engineering Technology are included as student members in the delegation.
Advising the students he said that they should take it as a golden opportunity to get a great exposure of development and prove themselves through their behaviour as they would represent themselves as ambassadors of their country in China.
