A special team of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Sindh caught red-handed an Assistant Director/Investigation Officer Fazl-e-Hadi while taking bribe last night.
According to a NAB release on Tuesday, Fazl-e-Hadi had demanded heavy bribe from a complainant for disposing off a case, however, he reached a deal against Rs 1 million. The complainant informed Director General NAB Sindh about it.
DG NAB constituted a special team and initiated secret investigation into the matter. The complainant called the IO in Gulshan-e-Jamal area, near Millennium Mall, Rashid Minhas Road Karachi where he was caught red-handed in presence of First-class Magistrate Asim Khan Lodhi. The accused was produced before Accountability Court Karachi, on Tuesday, which remanded him to police custody for 14-days.
