Scattered thunderstorm may occur over Southern Punjab, especially in Bahawalpur division, and isolated rain is also expected in Gujranwala and Lahore divisions alongwith upper catchments of rivers Jhelum, Chenab and Ravi.
According to the Meteorological department here on Tuesday, the expected rain is due to Monsoon current from Arabian Sea that is reaching south Punjab up to 5000 feet and seasonal low lies over Balochistan.
Meanwhile, according to the flood forecasting division Lahore, all the major rivers are flowing below low flood level but Indus tributaries in NWFP, like Kabul River, Swat River and Shah Alam River, are in high flood.
The water level in Tarbella Dam recorded at 1436 feet and in Mangla 1180 feet.
