Bears tighten grip on ISE

Bears strengthened their positions at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities failed to show recovery signs under the lead of trend-setters amid decrease in index. ISE-10 Index showed a decrease of 12.22 points as the index moved from 2,722.93 to 2,710.71 points.
The overall turnover stood at 2,744,400 shares as compared to previous volume of 2,656,500 shares. Total 142 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (75) closed in negative territory, 65 closed in positive zone, whereas two companies remained glued to their overnight levels.
The volume of DG Khan Cement was 467,200 shares as compared to previous turnover of 1,256,500 shares. The volume of Bank of Punjab was 355,400 shares. The volume of Arif Habib Securities was 239,100 shares.
