Singapore bunker prices fell on Monday, but its differential to fuel oil cargo stayed positive for a third day as prompt supplies tightened. Prices for 380-centistoke (cst) bunker fuel were pegged at $357-$359 a tonne, down $2 from the previous session, while the differential to fuel oil cargoes was at a small premium of 80 cents, up 70 cents.
"The market's firming. Even though there's not much demand today, the bunker premium remained positive by the skin of its teeth. The tight cargo market is starting to impact on us," a Singapore-based supplier said.
