Imran lashes out at govt over Sheikhupura train mishap

Updated 28 Mar, 2017

According to Dunya News, Khan lashed out at the government over their role towards continuous train accidents and termed it embarrassing and disappointed.

He questioned that what sort of performance could be expected from a government who cannot secure merely the crossing points.

“Railway minister has nothing to do with the matters of its own ministry. He only criticizes others and serves the Sharifs. He either threatens the nation with ‘lions’ or ridicule the judges,” said the PTI chief.

The government should be ashamed of the occurrence of a series of rail-related accidents, Imran said.

At least two people were killed while 10 others sustained severe wounds as Shalimar Express collided with an oil tanker at a railway crossing near Hiran Minar in Sheikhupura on Monday night.
