There is no pressure on judiciary, the Acting Chief Justice of Supreme Court Justice Rana Bhagwandas said on Friday, with renewing his earlier promise to come up with good news.
"There is no pressure on judiciary and courts are functioning independently in accordance with the Constitution," Justice Rana Bhagwandas told reporters after the roll signing ceremony of lawyers as advocate of the Supreme Court.
"There is no pressure from any quarter," he insisted when asked about any pressure on the judiciary. When asked about months old promise of good news to the nation, Justice Rana Bhagwandas said "the nation would hear good news." He had promised "good news" at Karachi after he took oath as the Acting Chief Justice of Pakistan.
Earlier, addressing the newly enrolled Advocates the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice Rana Bhagwandas said that they were pursuing a very noble profession which ensures the rights of the people.
