As many as 21 persons were killed and 45 injured in FR (Frontier Region) Tank and Khyber Agency on Friday. In first accident, a passenger bus coming from Karachi to Wana plunged into a deep ravine while negotiating a sharp turn near Jandola in FR Tank.
According to political authorities, the ill-fated passenger bus when reached Kariwam area, turned turtle and fell into a deep ravine on Waziristan Road, killing 17 persons instantly and injuring 45 others.
In another accident, four persons of a wedding party were killed and 17 others injured when a passenger coach collided head on with a truck at Prangsum area, in tehsil Jamrud.
