The National College of Arts (NCA) Rawalpindi will hold a one-day seminar on "Presence and Process" on June 30 to explore the designing processes of stage drama. The seminar will be held at Liaquat Memorial Hall with a group of artists working in diverse fields from puppetry, fashion design, and light design to miniature painting.
Co-ordinator of the seminar, Claire Pamment said that the programme would push the boundaries of stage design, taking inspiration from traditional sources like the folk stage, which we once called Rang, the roving light holder the Ranga and all of the colourful evocative imagery that comes from rang-ragas, along with the help of modern technology.
