Bears returned in the front seat at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities failed to show recovery signs under the lead of trend-setters amid increase in index. ISE Ten Index was down by 10.62 points as the index moved from 2,734.18 to 2,723.56 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 67,65,100 shares as compared to previous volume of 62,90,000 shares. Total 140 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (70) closed in negative territory, 69 landed in positive zone, whereas one company remained glued to its overnight levels.
The volume of DG Khan Cement was 745,500 shares as compared to previous volume of 7,86,900 shares. The volume of Lucky Cement was 997,600 shares. The turnover of Fauji Fertiliser was 745,500 shares.
