Subdued business was seen on the grain market on Thursday as supply position was tight from the upcountry centres, dealers said. On the seed side, cottonseed oilcake low type picked up Rs 20 to Rs 400 and better type was higher by Rs 40 to Rs 600, they said. Other items maintained the overnight levels, they said.
On the grams side, wheat old and new Bardan was up by Rs 5 to Rs 1190-1205, they said. Rates did not move on the grams and rice sectors, they added.
