The Canteen and Stores Department (CSD) and United Insurance Company (UIC) have signed an agreement to provide CSD customers full life, auto and property insurance facilities.
The agreement was signed between two organisations at CSD headquarters. Brigadier Tariq Moeen Nawaz (Retd), Managing Director CSD signed the agreement on behalf of his organisation while the UIC was represented by Country Manager Dr Murtaza Mughal.
Under this agreement, UIC would provide extra benefits and incentives to the CSD customers along with a compact life and auto insurance package. Speaking on the occasion CSD chief Tariq Moeen said that CSD would bring its services at par with international standards to provide all possible relief to its customers.
Brigadier Moeen lauded the services of the UIC for its provision of extra benefits and incentives to its customers. He hoped that the company would offer more packages for CSD customers.
Under this scheme, CSD customers and employees would be offered free Umra package, shouldering the expenses of funeral and bringing the body back in case of death abroad, and free life insurance for auto customers of the CSD.
Dr Murtaza Mughal while speaking on the occasion said that his company believes in charity services. Utilisation of funds in this way would help make the projects a success besides it would highlight the vision of the CSD. The UIC wants to serve the masses by involving them in different welfare projects.
