This was for the first time that the air show was held at the public place.
A large number of people witnessed and very much appreciated the air show in which F-16, JF-17 Thunder and Mirage planes took part.
Governor Sindh, Muhammad Zubair, was the chief guest of the event. He was accompanied by the Air Vice Marshal Salman Ahsen Bukhari.
Mayor Karachi, Wasim Akhtar, high ranking civil and military official were also present on the occasion.
The hour-long event included flypast, aerobatics, paragliding as well as aeromodelling.
The Governor met with those who performed in the event and appreciated their performance and skills.
In his remarks, he said that the show is gift for the people of Karachi from the PAF. Â Â Â The Governor also lauded the role of the PAF towards the defence of the country.
He stated that the PAF is among the most advanced air forces in the world.
Meanwhile, a ceremony was also held at the PAF Museum here on Thursday.
The family of Flt. Lt. Afzal Jamal Siddiqui Shaheed, a hero of 1971 war, laid floral wreath at `Yadgar-i-Shuhda'.
