Sartaj calls for deeper cooperation between Pakistan, Afghanistan in various sectors

ISLAMABAD: Adviser to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz has emphasized the need for deeper cooperation between Pakistan and Afghanistan in the areas of security, counter-terrorism, border management, trade, transit and voluntary repatriation of Afghan refugees.

He was talking to an Afghan media delegation here on Tuesday. The Adviser briefed the delegation about Pakistan continuous efforts towards peace and stability in Afghanistan.

He stressed that a peaceful, stable and prosperous Afghanistan was also in Pakistan interest.
