Sindh Assembly pays rich tributes to women

KARACHI: Sindh Assembly on Wednesday paid tremendous tributes to women for their untiring struggles and achievements in various fields by passing four resolutions to mark the International Day of Women here. The resolutions were moved by the women MPAs of different parties present on the floor of the house.

They paid tributes to all women of the world including Fatima Jinnah, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and others.

Women members speaking on the resolutions said that Sindh Assembly has passed various bills pertaining to women and that is why the credit goes to it.

They observed that a small number of women are witnessed in different government organizations including Sindh Assembly and Sindh Secretariat.

The number of women employees need to be increased and they must be given their due right in every sphere of life.
