PM, COAS visit Nawabshah, inquire about health of Shrine blast injured

NAWABSHAH: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Bajwa here Friday visited the People Medical College Hospital Nawabshah and inquired about health of the injured of Sehwan blast.

Earlier, they reached the Nawabshah Airport, where strict security measures were taken. Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Governor Sindh Zubair Umar, IGP Sindh A D Khwaja and others were present.

On the occasion, CM Sindh gave them briefing in the VIP Lounge of the airport.

Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali, federal minster for finance Ishaque Dar and others also accompanied the prime minister.

Later, the PM and COAS visited the surgical ward of the hospital and inquired about the health of the injured. On the occasion, strict security was observed and even media coverage of the event was not allowed.
