The 40-year-old's inclusion in the United squad comes after the suspension of Sharjeel Khan and Khalid Latif by the PCB and PSL authorities, who say the two are alleged to be involved in match fixing.

Rafatullah has represented Pakistan in three T20 matches, with the best score of 23 runs.

On Monday, the PCB chief Shahryar Khan stated that those involved in corruption would not be tolerated. This comes after Khalid Latif and Sharjeel Khan were suspended by Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) anti-corruption unit as the two were allegedly involved in spot-fixing.

Khalid Latif has claimed that he is innocent. "As God is my witness, I am innocent and I have not done anything wrong," said Khalid Latif, on Monday. Whereas, Sharjeel Khan's father Sohail Khan has also stated that his son is not involved in any wrongdoing.
