MADRID: Supporters of Spain's Podemos handed their charismatic leader Pablo Iglesias a resounding victory Sunday, re-electing him party chief and embracing his strategy to fight on as an anti-establishment grouping, a party official told AFP.

More than 155,000 people voted to re-elect him as chief, and for his list of candidates to the leadership council as well as his strategy for the future of Podemos, in what supporters hope will end months of in-fighting in one of Europe's leading far-left parties.
