Blind T20 World Cup: Pakistan thrashes Australia, moves into semis

Pakistan winning spree continued, after the Pakistan Blind Cricket Team beat Australia in thier ninth game, and in doing so reached the semi finals of the 2nd T20 World Cup Cricket Tournament for the Blind.

Pakistan who has remained unbeaten in the entire tournament downed the Australian side by 147 runs, after Pak Blind Cricket Team, batting first imposed a mammoth target of 321 at the loss of 3 wickets in their 20 overs.

The target proved a little too much for the opposition, as Australia crumbled for just 174 runs at the loss of nine wickets.

Pakistan opening batsman Riasat Khan, proved his mantle yet again hitting an unbeaten 114 run knock. Riasat was ably supported by middle order batsmen Mati Ullah and Nisar Ali who scored 80 and 78 runs, respectively.

Batting second, Australia was never in the game, as the batting line continued to give away wickets at regular intervals, as it crashed for 174. Opener, Matthew James Cameron was the top scorer for his side with 38 runs.

For Pakistan, Muhammad Idrees was the pick of the bowler with 3 scalps, whereas, Israr Hassan and Badar Munir picked two wickets a piece.

The unbeaten Pakistan has made it into the semi-finals of the tournament. However, who will Pakistan face remains yet to be seen.
