KARACHI: On Monday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 49652.11 with a positive change of 96.28 and volume of 44,688,560 shares.

High and Low were 49739.89 and 49555.83 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 140,081,360 shares with 350 total traded companies out of which 182 were up, 153 were down and 15 were unchanged.

CHEMICAL was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 33,225,960 shares. It was followed by TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION with a total traded volume of 16,922,000 shares.

The three top traded companies were Lotte Chemical with a volume of 24,459,000 and price per share of 10.26 (0.81), TRG Pak Ltd with a volume 12,466,000 of price per share of 59.40 (0.64), Dost Steels Ltd. with a volume 6,621,500 of price per share of 14.60 (0.29).

The top three advancers were Sanofi-Aventis with price per share 2645.86 (125.99), Unilever Foods with price per share of 5800.00 (75.00) and ICI Pakistan share of 1145.00 (17.49).

The top three decliners were Atlas Battery with price per share of 923.00 (-17.00), IGI Insurance with price per share of 358.00 (-14.70) and Exide (PAK) per share of 933.00 (-14.25).
