Two rallies were brought in the city by Jamaat Islami and TMA Attock to mark the day.
The JI rally was led by Dist Ameer Jamat e Islami Jabir Ali Khan and TMA rally was led by Deputy Commissioner Rana Akbar Hayat along with Assistant Commissioner Fatima Bashir, Chairman Municipal Committee Nasir Mehmood Sheikh, Vice Chairman Malik Tahir Awan and other TMA officials.
People from different walk of life attended the rallies.
A function was held at Fatima Jinnah Hall Minicipal Committee Attock, where Assistant Commissioner Fatima Bashir was the chief guest.
